Nine-Ten

While visiting San Diego, we were on the look out for new restaurants to try.  After looking online, we decided to check out Nine-Ten Restaurant and Bar.   The restaurant is located in the Grande Colonial Hotel just one block away from the beautiful La Jolla Shores.   Their menu consist of  typical SoCal fare, soups and salads, sandwiches and burgers and a few entree specialties.  They have a great lunch special which includes an appetizer, entree and dessert for $24.  Being a sandwich lover, I was immediately drawn to the Reuben.  While I can’t say it was the best I’ve ever had, I will say that my wife’s Short Rib Panini was absolutely amazing.  Good food and good service.  We’d probably be back to sample their dinner menu.

FYI-Their head chef Jason Knibb recently won San Diego’s 2014 Chef of the Year by the California Restaurant Association.
